Condominiums are often multi-million dollar structures that need a sophisticated approach to arrangement. The course is designed for real estate agents wishing to know more about the condominium sector or the daily operations of privately owned condominiums. Instruction covers various aspects that are most important for buying or selling a condominium unit including Buying a Condominium Unit, Creating the Condominium Corporation, Condominium Living, Condominium Governance, Condominium Corporation Governing Documents, and Condominium Financing.
Students will learn how to effectively deal with people and buildings and develop optimal knowledge. Both theory and practical problems are incorporated into the course within the 3 hours, providing opportunities for participants to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities in helping their clients more effectively on condominiums.

Learning Objectives for Students
After studying this course, you should be able to understand:
- Explain aspects of the law that govern condominiums, such as the Horizontal Property Act, Safety Act, contract law, agency law, litigation, and other related governance.
- Apply problem-solving, time management, and customer service-related skills to perform an effective condominium property transaction.
- Understand a variety of administrative and financial tasks and prepare reports to support a property’s long term economic success such as creating and working within a budget and managing expenses, reserve funds, investments, cash-flows, and audits.
- Understand the structure of a condominiums and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including boards of directors, contractors and tradespeople pertaining to issues and situations that may arise.
